Science Mystery Books for Kids
N. L. Eskeland earned a Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Florida. Subsequently, she worked for several years in different research laboratories in New York City, including the laboratory of Dr. Bruce Merrifield, a Nobel Prize laureate. The author received a doctoral degree in biomedical sciences from the City University of New York / Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1991. Since adolescence, Eskeland enjoyed reading and writing fiction and non-fiction stories. She enrolled in several writing courses for children and regularly attends writers critique groups. She is a member of several scientific organizations, in addition to the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). N. L. Eskeland
